Franz Kafka

Franz Kafka, July 1883 - June 1924, was a German author and considered to be one of the most influential authors of the 20th century. With works like The Metamorphosis, The Trial, and The Castle, Kafka took a look into the diverse themes and archetypes of alienation, physical and psychological brutality, parent-child conflict, characters on a terrifying quest, labyrinths of bureaucracy, and mystical transformations.
