Jo Beverley (1947—2016) was born and raised in England and earned a degree in English history from Keele University. The winner of five RITA Awards, she authored more than forty romance novels and earned a place in the RWA Hall of Fame. A dual citizen, she and her husband raised their two sons in Canada before returning to England, where they lived out her remaining days.
