Vera Brosgol

Vera Brosgol was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to the United States when she was five. She attended Sheridan College and received her diploma in classic animation. Having worked on films such as Coraline and Kubo, as well as for Cartoon Network, her first graphic novel, Anya's Ghost, was published in 2011 and was awarded an Eisner Award. When not illustrating and authoring her own books, she enjoys knitting and riding her bike around her home of Portland, Oregon.
