Elizabeth Moon

Elizabeth Moon is an experienced author who specializes in science fiction and fantasy. Having received her undergraduate degrees in history and biology from Rice University and the University of Texas at San Antonio, respectively, she went on to spend three years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Her novel Remnant Population was a Hugo finalist, and The Speed of Dark received the Nebula Award in 2003. When not writing, she enjoys traveling, baking, and knitting.
